Truly. This is a complete surprise review. I didn't even think I was going to have it until now. This is an audiobook review. I was gifted a copy through YABoundBookTours. I was in 2 tours for this book, but didn't have a review for either. I don't remember if I was on for a review for XpressoBookTours (I know I contacted Giselle and changed for a Spotlight, because I was preparing to move, and I didn't think I would have the time), but either way, here it is now. I know I have said this before, but I am surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I am not very big on horror, per se. To be honest, I don't think i even noticed that detail while listening. It felt like a paranormal and I didn't feel like it was gory. Not only was the story entertaining, but the author’s visualization of the characters and what transpires throughout the book, it’s all very lively and adventurous. The author/narrator knows how she wants her characters to be portrayed, and she generates that exact energy into her narrative. And she didn’t record it in her bathroom. This audio book is legit. The story is fun.
I finished reading, listening to this book while sitting in my new bedroom without internet. I would like to apologize that this review is up so late. I honestly thought I would have my internet back in time to post on my date, but sometimes things are just out of our control. Right?
